 I stayed home and played on my computer and it was lots of fun and I had been playing this new game alot called bloontd6 and it is lots of fun where you place down monkeys to pop bloon and thats something fun I did on the hoilliday.

The Whisper- Xavier

On the most beautiful sunny day I thought I could stroll to the lagoon and have a swim. My Dad had warned me not to go but I don't know what he's talking about. I know that some people have gone missing but still I think it's a really nice day and people go missing at all different beaches but today nothing could go wrong.

 I drove there. It was perfect, the light breeze of the air, the saltiness in my nose, the calm almost silent beach with a nice sunny sky. I was like a racoon finding trash. I hopped in and just as I thought it was the perfect temperature for swimming in nice cool water with the beautiful sun beaming on me I had been swimming like a swan having the best day of my life. There was a tire swing that you could swing on. I was like a monkey. I had a nice coke on the sand then hopped back in. It was the clearest water i've ever seen. I just swam around  but then the sun started to set so I was ready to go home but then dark stormy clouds came like lightning. It filled the sky with dread.

 I peered above as the wind picked up. trees that were swaying so fast it was like whispering. Then I felt something touch my leg and then I felt more and more and more. Like thousands of arms pulling me down I started sinking. I went under the water as I heard whispering. I then kicked the arms as I was drowning. As I started to sink I saw lots of people. But not alive, they were ghosts!  I thought that I was going to be one of them. They disappeared as I saw the rain had stopped. I swam up as fast as I could I saw the surface I swam up as fast as a swordfish and beached myself on land as I vomited all the water that was inside me I nearly died

 I rushed home as I told my Dad he said he sant surprised because that had happened to him too. I said “why didn't you tell me!” Dad replied “I did tell you you just didn't listen!” as I curled up in bed I learnt to always listen to my dad

 This week we had too do a math task about prime numbers and squared numbers prime numbers are numbers that can only be didvided by itself and 1 and squred numbers are only things that are twimes by two and that is what we did for math

Writing task

 This week we had to do a free write where we could write what ever we want I did it off my book that im reading at the time called wings of fire here it is On my way to certain death. I don't know why I agreed, but now I'm going into the dragon castle. We found out that the dragons seem to have some sort of intelligence even though they eat us so we are going to go kill their leader and steal some of the treasure they took off us. Many humans despite dragons like me but we were randomly picked to go into the castle. There were only three of us! They said they had gotten the venom of a dragonbite viper said to kill a dragon with one drop of their venom.  There were many different dragons but one was a peaceful tribe called rainwings they had pet sloths and didn't eat us so that's where most of us stayed including my family but I didn't want to leave, but then they told us three that we had to kill the leader of the sand dragon. I didn't know the other two were roped into this too, a teenage girl and a man. A while passed as We rode on our horse carriage through the desert then we found the towering castle. Full of the death of our brotherren It had an ominous glow like death was waiting for us. 

There we saw the front door, the massive dragon door. It was amazing how they could build with the fire-like design with plated gold. I was terrified at this point but we had to keep going forward and anyways we had some camouflage armor. Then suddenly we heard something shake the earth, a dragon. The yellow dragon that  looked like the sand had hot scales as they died which had gotten my cousin killed. 

 We waited for the dragon to leave as we climbed up the dragon spiral stairs as we saw the doors to treasure we pushed open the doors and heaps upon heaps of treasure was stacked like a pile we grabbed as much as we could but then the leader came I like to call the dragon queen and started to attack us she killed the man and the girl fled with the treasure I grabbed the dragonbite viper spear and stabbed the leader as she stabbed me I killed the leader but died in the end.

What I did for majority of the week was gone to a place called mitimiti it is right next to the beach where there are massive waves when we got there all my relatives were there including my cousins we had to clean up mitimiti and my nana's house what me and one of my cousins had to do was clean the walls with a cloth after that we had to do more stuff but then mostly we relaxed and ate dinner then went to sleep the next day most of the relatives were going so it was just me nana aunty Addy and my cousins we stayed there for a while then I went home and played video games for the rest of the week.

 WALT make a story about the ocean 

This week we had to make a story about the ocean here it is 

The wind howled like a wolf at the full moon. Lightning licked across the evil sky: a serpent tongue tormenting the clouds. The earth began to shatter waves like mountains crashing down on them; they would have to sprint like cheetahs chasing down their prey so they wouldn't sink like a bird at sea. lost and nowhere to go.

BAM! Something hit the ship like a hippo shot out of a cannon. It was land! A rocky hill filled with jagged rocks I rushed down to the hull. The water was pouring out as if you stabbed a balloon. I grabbed the spare wood and nails and hammered it with panic flowing through my body.

I went up too the deck and the endless abyss of dark clouds had faded. It looked like a massive wave of clear blue sky washed over us. A mountain of relief had overcome us. We had survived one of the greatest storms I had ever encountered. We were like an ant adapting to any environment we finally saw land! I never want to go on a boat again. THE END

The Walk

 This week we have to talk about something we did outside and I am going to tell you about it so when I woke up what I did was wash my face and get up then my dad told me "come on lets go for a walk with taikarowa" he was my little niece who was one so we had got his little bike where we can stroll and went out we had to go up hill because we lived below sea level and right next to the beach there we lived on a round about but luckily we had a little shortcut which shot straight though so we went that way taikarowa was having a blast on his bike we then had gone to a hill where the beach was what had happed was that there were really rough tides so it brought in seashells and and the erosion made it so that there was a tiny hill you had to walk up we had gone to the beach and sat on the shells it was really cool we then went back because it was a little bit windy and then relaxed.

 This week in lockdown I had to read a book about space and then chose ten words I thought were interesting or I didn't know. You then had to write down there meaning. This week we had to make a story about things dissapearing this is my story I really liked my story.

   The Disappearance...

This is Bob. He lived a boring life and a boring family. He had  two sisters and two brothers. He was a middle child his parents would usually forget about him but little did he know that he was something that would change his life forever.

He woke up like everyday, went to  school and did math he hated math because he wasn't good at it but after that class he had art which was the complete opposite of math because he loved it then he had lunch with his only friend Jim they went out to play, they went to there secret hideout in school it was a tent they got from home, pillows from class and food crumbs and as they went in they saw a golden cup.

 “Woah what's that” Bob said  “it looks like a magic genie lamp” Jim exclaimed  it looked like the sun  shineness  like someone had cleaned it for years“i'm going to shake it” “you sure?” Bob said as Jim shaked it a magic genie popped out “hello I am a magic genie I will give you both 1 wish. “Okay I wish for infinite wishes” Jim said confidently “no” the genie said “awww” said Bob sadly The boys thought hard, then...

 “I want the school to disappear” said Bob okay the genie said and BLAM and the whole school disappeared there was world wide panic and everyone was scared that someone can destroy the world and that people are turning bad  days later  the other boy Jim went to the genie at the edge where the genie resided  and said “I want you to turn everything to normal”  the boy waited for an answer holding his breath the genie  said “okay”  and everything went back to normal and the boys breathed a sigh of relief and learnt to not do things that could be bad and to think before doing anything.

This week we had to make a story about a door and what could happen here it is it was alot of fun and I could use alot of creativeity  here it is As I'm walking to school I think about how there is a  lock door at school. I keep wandering until I reach school and that door stares at me, tempting me. Kids have said that there are red eyes staring at you but, I think that's a lie there are people who go in there but, still it lies a mystery as I go to class we go to class we go to assembly the principal mr peppa pig says that we have something  special for you tomorrow which seems cool so I was quite excited then I went to math,reading and writing I then go home and do the usually then I read a book and go to sleep I  wake up to any alarm go to school and the first thing I see the door is unlocked! I step in and… three is a  clean bathroom ! It's quite cool. The principal tells us all about it. Those kids had a really good imagination.

The Bag of Intrigue





BEEP BEEP BEEP ‘’uh it's the alarm’’ I get up mum says breakfast is ready! I smell the fresh taste of toast as I rush down the stairs, get ready, brush my teeth, get changed and take one bite and rush to school. I live right next to it in the suburbs. I love it here with the birds chirping.




I get to school when the bell rings and go to class. We are doing math, my favorite subject I like so much so time goes by so fast that I didn't even notice that the bell rang. I went out to play when all of a sudden the class bully came, his name is Lusty. He just stole a kids lunch as he approached me “hey give me your lunch money I say “I don't have any money” Lusty says“ well you're gonna pay” I get up and sprint away faster as i've ever been I get to the cafeteria where Lusty leaves me alone.




There is an old gremlin lady who brings out a bag and leaves. I go and inspect it. I look closer and it starts moving then suddenly BAM! A small alien half the size of me comes with big black eyes. It's kinda cute. I took it home and hid it from mum. Mum says “dinners ready” as I come down the stairs. I'm so caught up in thinking that I found an alien in a bag that I tripped and fell down the stairs. “Are you okay?” says mum. “Yes mum”




I see two big scary men in black suits they say that there is someone else here I realize there for the alien I say “I have to pee'' and I go up to check on him I go out the window and leave I ask him “where are you from” he says “mars” so I decided to try hijack a rocket in the morning I go back home and tell mum about everything and she lets me go. I know that NASA the rocket company are launching a rocket in 1 hour for a test so I rush to the place and mum gave me some money for a taxi as I get there there is 20 minutes left I see the big black men there again I see a scientist as I sneak past him I get in there I see the rocket A scientist sees me “GET HIM” they say I rush to the rocket it says ten, nine, eight, seven then he disappears as he has teleport into the rocket as I wave goodbye I go back home and the scientist says im in a lot of trouble but this is a warning as I go home I feel good, the end.

Good job Xavier you have done really well. Lots of good words next time try to make your story more descriptive but other than that it's really good.

This week we had to make a writing about a fox. Here it is

Fox vs Wolf

In the bushes you see an orange tail getting ready to pounce. A little mouse is slowly walking past, in a flash the fox pounces and the mouse is sprinting away while the fox gives chase, as they leap around the forest a cliff comes up the mouse jumps and falls into the darkness. The fox hears the noise of the mouse squealing for its life as the fox sees red evil terrifying eyes peering at him .The fox runs away. He then gets distracted by a butterfly and frolic around it, until it sees a cloud consuming him.

The fox runs to a cliff where it climbs up and goes into its cave where it has its belongings. There is a doll and a blanket he lies there while the booming of rain falls as the fox sits there. Suddenly he sees black outlines of wolves chasing the whole forest. The cry of a deer echoes around

He wakes up as you see a waterfall across from the fox he goes over there to drink he sees a fish he leaps into the water getting the fish in his mouth he got it, but then a wolf comes and lickes the water. Blood goes through the water as the fox holds his breath as the wolf looks directly at him, he leaves the fox and comes up shocked with fear he runs away

The wolf waiting sprints at him. They run all around the forest, the fox climbs up a tree the wolf follows, barely jumps from one tree to another his front legs are barely hanging on, and he lifts himself up. Under the tree is a big hole going very deep if he were to fall he will surely die there is a tree on the other end, so he jumps while the wolf open his mouth and just as he's going to bite him he leaps in the air he jumps on and barely makes it as the wolf falls as the fox gets away the forest is safe.

Among us

 Darkness cold today I'm going to a space shuttle it is a strong as a bullet and flies around the moon  as fast as cheetah I'm almost at boarding as I get there I am greeted with cyan the medic of the group we all sit down and introduce ourselves we see the boarding leave and as pink introduces herself a massive Rumble in the ship happens and the whole ship starts to break I rushed to the transmitter and it's static just static. I looked around and the ship is a wreck. We all go back to the cafe  and I tell the others to fix the ship so we can get back on. We suddenly see the lights go out green says Oh no i'm too rich to die! We're not gonna die. We have to go electric to fix the lights, said purple so we moved and fumbled around the light turn on and Orange died Behind Blue  I rushed to the cafe and called everyone and said blue murdered orange no that lies brown died in admin table too. I'm now shocked in fear. I say we throw blue out the airlock and everyone agrees  and we carry out blue to the airlock. It wasn't me he said as he went out. we go back to doing tasks. I reflect on how there are only six of us left. get that I see cyan I say hi to him then behind me I see someone go in the medical Bay I go and look and see purple standing over cyan body I rushed out but purple has gotten to the emergency area first red killed cyan cried purple no I say hey you've been saying that blue murdered orange yeah let's throw him out as they rush me to the airlock I go out and I see the darkness and feel the cold going through my body is this the end?

How do animals find food?

This week we are doing a reading task  

this week I did a task about animals and how they eat I did a few task but the important ones are relational where I compared two animals and how they eat differently I did animals that make food like bees  and animals like deers that look for there food  and the slimier thing about both of them is that they look for the food but the deer immediately eats it but the bees has to turn it in to food to eat. The other one I did for my reading task was make a video of camouflage click here if you want to see it it is a short animation. Have you ever seen a animal go camouflage?

 We are learning about leadership.

A great leader  has characteristic the following quality's:

• A good listener

• Role model  
• Sportsman's ship
• Truthfulness 

A leader I respect is Barrack Obama, because he was the president of America and if you were

 the president you need good leadership roles  also he lowers the health cost of medical bills then he tried to stop climate change.  Overall he's been trying a lot to improve people's lives and that why I think he is a good leader.

Goal Setting Term 1

1. Before term 2 I will get at least 8/10 in my spelling words.

2. Before term 2 I will learn to scull and freestyle properly

3. I will learn to do division properly before term 2

4. Learn some algebra at home so I know the formula

How will I achieve my goals.

1. Practice them by doing there definition and sentences 

3. When doing 100 basic facts try and focus on the divided by ones

4. My dad can teach me every Friday for 30 minutes
