Fun thing I did in lockdown

 I stayed home and played on my computer and it was lots of fun and I had been playing this new game alot called bloontd6 and it is lots of fun where you place down monkeys to pop bloon and thats something fun I did on the hoilliday.

The Whisper- Xavier

On the most beautiful sunny day I thought I could stroll to the lagoon and have a swim. My Dad had warned me not to go but I don't know what he's talking about. I know that some people have gone missing but still I think it's a really nice day and people go missing at all different beaches but today nothing could go wrong.

 I drove there. It was perfect, the light breeze of the air, the saltiness in my nose, the calm almost silent beach with a nice sunny sky. I was like a racoon finding trash. I hopped in and just as I thought it was the perfect temperature for swimming in nice cool water with the beautiful sun beaming on me I had been swimming like a swan having the best day of my life. There was a tire swing that you could swing on. I was like a monkey. I had a nice coke on the sand then hopped back in. It was the clearest water i've ever seen. I just swam around  but then the sun started to set so I was ready to go home but then dark stormy clouds came like lightning. It filled the sky with dread.

 I peered above as the wind picked up. trees that were swaying so fast it was like whispering. Then I felt something touch my leg and then I felt more and more and more. Like thousands of arms pulling me down I started sinking. I went under the water as I heard whispering. I then kicked the arms as I was drowning. As I started to sink I saw lots of people. But not alive, they were ghosts!  I thought that I was going to be one of them. They disappeared as I saw the rain had stopped. I swam up as fast as I could I saw the surface I swam up as fast as a swordfish and beached myself on land as I vomited all the water that was inside me I nearly died

 I rushed home as I told my Dad he said he sant surprised because that had happened to him too. I said “why didn't you tell me!” Dad replied “I did tell you you just didn't listen!” as I curled up in bed I learnt to always listen to my dad

math task

 This week we had too do a math task about prime numbers and squared numbers prime numbers are numbers that can only be didvided by itself and 1 and squred numbers are only things that are twimes by two and that is what we did for math

 This week we had to do a math task about dart board it was where you could make the numbers 9 11 13 15 17 19 21 with just three numbers you can figure it out

Writing task

 This week we had to do a free write where we could write what ever we want I did it off my book that im reading at the time called wings of fire here it is On my way to certain death. I don't know why I agreed, but now I'm going into the dragon castle. We found out that the dragons seem to have some sort of intelligence even though they eat us so we are going to go kill their leader and steal some of the treasure they took off us. Many humans despite dragons like me but we were randomly picked to go into the castle. There were only three of us! They said they had gotten the venom of a dragonbite viper said to kill a dragon with one drop of their venom.  There were many different dragons but one was a peaceful tribe called rainwings they had pet sloths and didn't eat us so that's where most of us stayed including my family but I didn't want to leave, but then they told us three that we had to kill the leader of the sand dragon. I didn't know the other two were roped into this too, a teenage girl and a man. A while passed as We rode on our horse carriage through the desert then we found the towering castle. Full of the death of our brotherren It had an ominous glow like death was waiting for us. 

There we saw the front door, the massive dragon door. It was amazing how they could build with the fire-like design with plated gold. I was terrified at this point but we had to keep going forward and anyways we had some camouflage armor. Then suddenly we heard something shake the earth, a dragon. The yellow dragon that  looked like the sand had hot scales as they died which had gotten my cousin killed. 

 We waited for the dragon to leave as we climbed up the dragon spiral stairs as we saw the doors to treasure we pushed open the doors and heaps upon heaps of treasure was stacked like a pile we grabbed as much as we could but then the leader came I like to call the dragon queen and started to attack us she killed the man and the girl fled with the treasure I grabbed the dragonbite viper spear and stabbed the leader as she stabbed me I killed the leader but died in the end.

What I did for majority of the week was gone to a place called mitimiti it is right next to the beach where there are massive waves when we got there all my relatives were there including my cousins we had to clean up mitimiti and my nana's house what me and one of my cousins had to do was clean the walls with a cloth after that we had to do more stuff but then mostly we relaxed and ate dinner then went to sleep the next day most of the relatives were going so it was just me nana aunty Addy and my cousins we stayed there for a while then I went home and played video games for the rest of the week.

 WALT make a story about the ocean 

This week we had to make a story about the ocean here it is 

The wind howled like a wolf at the full moon. Lightning licked across the evil sky: a serpent tongue tormenting the clouds. The earth began to shatter waves like mountains crashing down on them; they would have to sprint like cheetahs chasing down their prey so they wouldn't sink like a bird at sea. lost and nowhere to go.

BAM! Something hit the ship like a hippo shot out of a cannon. It was land! A rocky hill filled with jagged rocks I rushed down to the hull. The water was pouring out as if you stabbed a balloon. I grabbed the spare wood and nails and hammered it with panic flowing through my body.

I went up too the deck and the endless abyss of dark clouds had faded. It looked like a massive wave of clear blue sky washed over us. A mountain of relief had overcome us. We had survived one of the greatest storms I had ever encountered. We were like an ant adapting to any environment we finally saw land! I never want to go on a boat again. THE END

The Walk

 This week we have to talk about something we did outside and I am going to tell you about it so when I woke up what I did was wash my face and get up then my dad told me "come on lets go for a walk with taikarowa" he was my little niece who was one so we had got his little bike where we can stroll and went out we had to go up hill because we lived below sea level and right next to the beach there we lived on a round about but luckily we had a little shortcut which shot straight though so we went that way taikarowa was having a blast on his bike we then had gone to a hill where the beach was what had happed was that there were really rough tides so it brought in seashells and and the erosion made it so that there was a tiny hill you had to walk up we had gone to the beach and sat on the shells it was really cool we then went back because it was a little bit windy and then relaxed.

 This week in lockdown I had to read a book about space and then chose ten words I thought were interesting or I didn't know. You then had to write down there meaning. This week we had to make a story about things dissapearing this is my story I really liked my story.

   The Disappearance...

This is Bob. He lived a boring life and a boring family. He had  two sisters and two brothers. He was a middle child his parents would usually forget about him but little did he know that he was something that would change his life forever.

He woke up like everyday, went to  school and did math he hated math because he wasn't good at it but after that class he had art which was the complete opposite of math because he loved it then he had lunch with his only friend Jim they went out to play, they went to there secret hideout in school it was a tent they got from home, pillows from class and food crumbs and as they went in they saw a golden cup.

 “Woah what's that” Bob said  “it looks like a magic genie lamp” Jim exclaimed  it looked like the sun  shineness  like someone had cleaned it for years“i'm going to shake it” “you sure?” Bob said as Jim shaked it a magic genie popped out “hello I am a magic genie I will give you both 1 wish. “Okay I wish for infinite wishes” Jim said confidently “no” the genie said “awww” said Bob sadly The boys thought hard, then...

 “I want the school to disappear” said Bob okay the genie said and BLAM and the whole school disappeared there was world wide panic and everyone was scared that someone can destroy the world and that people are turning bad  days later  the other boy Jim went to the genie at the edge where the genie resided  and said “I want you to turn everything to normal”  the boy waited for an answer holding his breath the genie  said “okay”  and everything went back to normal and the boys breathed a sigh of relief and learnt to not do things that could be bad and to think before doing anything.
