reading task

On 16/4/20 I did a reading task what the reading task was that we had to read this book and pick out 6 unique words and tell what they mean in your own words. What I did is below after we gave what the words meant we made a sentence with the words below. Doing this really helped understand what these words meant in detail I think that I could do better on the sentence with Evaporation but i tried my best.

adapting - changing to certain situation. 

I am adapting to online learning.

Erosion - when wave crash and take part of land away to the ocean.

I heard that there was an Erosion that happened today in Auckland.

Evaporation - when the sun heats up water and makes it boil and turn to steam

I like when water Evaporation in to steam.

Global warming - when there is a lot of carbon dioxide in the air making the world hotter

Global warming is a thing we need to fix immediately. 

Sea level - where the average of where the top of the water is.

I here that the sea level is getting close to the house.

Tide gauges - to see if the water level is going up

I hear that the Tide gauges stopped working.

Australia

On the 16/4/20 i did a poster about Australia and i wanna talk about it.
what I didn't know was that  Australia had opposite seasons to England and also there its extremely hot. Which is something I don't like  I know the heat  because i was born there. Also there flag is very similar to us except they have one more star then us and theirs is white and ours is red. By the way where were you born?

Japan

On Thursday we had to write about country and I choose Japan. Japan looks cool. There seems to be lots of stuff to do. I know there is a railway station, which is super weird and the culture is good.

zentagel art

W.A.L.T write about our zentangle art.

On Friday we did our zentangle art first what we did is get a turtle and made patterns. Second we  out lined it with marker then cut it out. Step three we got a big white paper then paint it then glue it then your done. personally I think that I could do a better job painting still I liked it by the way have you done this before?

maths strategy

W.A.L.T we are learning to write about a maths strategy
this strategy is by subtracting and adding by rounding
by adding a number to make it a tidy number then to make it even you subtract  how much you added
as you can see the example and this what we learnt today

My hobby

W.A.L.T  Write about a hobby.

One of my favourite hobbies is reading. The book I like reading the most are books 'Tom Gates@. Because his books are funny and cool I like to read at school and if I get a new book at home i'm gonna read it. And I will tell you about one of his book is called super good skills. So it start off he's at school and it's almost the end of the year and his teacher looks really tried. Then the bell goes off and it's the end of school and when he leave's he says something but everyone scraping their chairs makes it so he cant hear what he said. Then their going on a road trip. Then when they get there it's worse than in the picture. That's the part I am up to in the book.

Blog post analysis

Last week we had to analysis our yearly blog posts. First we made a bar graph in google sheets then we moved it to a google drawing. In the google drawing we had to add a title and then we had to analyse our graph by writing some statements about our graph and then a goal for ourselves for the year.
