Eel poster blog
On the 21/4/20 i did a poster about eels and how they migrate and were they migrate. The poster is down below. The reason i choose the eel because i saw the life span and what i did not know before was that eels go to the sea and that eels are a fish before I did not know what eels are now I know that there fish. This took a lot of researching and work and now i know a lot more. I would really like to know more about this but i like the eels cycle and that some eels can some times live for 80 years crazy right and by the way what is your favorite animals or your favorite migration?

Comprehension Questions to rising seas
on the 20/4/20 i did a Comprehension Questions about this book called rising seas. I read and we could re read the word if we want because it wasn't a memory test. I personally think that's better then just memorializing it because you learn the material better. Down below is the Comprehension Questions it took me a little bit to do them so why don't you try and do them? Also have you ever re read a book before?
- What percentage of water on Earth is made up of oceans?
- Why are sea levels rising? Because the ice caps are melting due to global warming
- Are rising sea levels getting better or worse? How do you know that? Worse because there still going up in height
- What are the effects of rising sea levels? Erosion when wave crash and take part of land away to the ocean and washing up more and more land.
- In what year did the Port of Auckland see it’s highest sea level? What was the sea level at? 23rd January 2011 5.223
- How did rainfall effect Australia? It made it more land because of Australia being a giant sponge.
- Without researching, how do you think we could help prevent sea levels from rising? Build rock walls were there is Erosion

rising seas summary
On the 17/4/20 I did a summary about a article I read about rising seas what i liked writing was the 20f wave and the giant sponge Australia but I think I could improve my grammar though but still I found it very interesting down below is what I wrote by the way what is your favorite book
Rising seas is a story about how sea levels are rising and global warming. Plus erosion is when waves crash and take some of the land with it. One time a tourist got trapped on a cliff because of the erosion, she was later picked up by a helicopter. In Buller Gorge a road every one or two years gets flooded washing the entire road and in California there are 20 foot waves. plus we have to make sea level things that tell how high the water is and if the tide are rising more than there supposed to. There called tide gauges and they also use satellites to check. We need to not use as much of carbon dioxide because that melt the icebergs. which make the sea rise like in Australia. There was a huge flood but since Australia was very hot and most of the land was dry it acted like a giant sponge. To help this problem we all have to team up by not using as much carbon dioxide to stop rising sea levels.

reading task
On 16/4/20 I did a reading task what the reading task was that we had to read this book and pick out 6 unique words and tell what they mean in your own words. What I did is below after we gave what the words meant we made a sentence with the words below. Doing this really helped understand what these words meant in detail I think that I could do better on the sentence with Evaporation but i tried my best.
adapting - changing to certain situation.
I am adapting to online learning.
Erosion - when wave crash and take part of land away to the ocean.
I heard that there was an Erosion that happened today in Auckland.
Evaporation - when the sun heats up water and makes it boil and turn to steam
I like when water Evaporation in to steam.
Global warming - when there is a lot of carbon dioxide in the air making the world hotter
Global warming is a thing we need to fix immediately.
Sea level - where the average of where the top of the water is.
I here that the sea level is getting close to the house.
Tide gauges - to see if the water level is going up
I hear that the Tide gauges stopped working.
Australia
On the 16/4/20 i did a poster about Australia and i wanna talk about it.
what I didn't know was that Australia had opposite seasons to England and also there its extremely hot. Which is something I don't like I know the heat because i was born there. Also there flag is very similar to us except they have one more star then us and theirs is white and ours is red. By the way where were you born?
